Similar to Americana in the way that one cherishes all things Halloween and of autumn. For example, seeing Halloween decorations in Dollar Stores and Wal-Mart in September, noticing the changing of leaves color, watching scary movies, going to Halloween parties, et cetera.
Unfortunately, Halloween(icana) is usually quickly overshadowed by the concentration of the unbelievably marketable and commercial Christmas.

Of course this person probably dresses mostly in black, could be kinda scary themselves until you get to know them, makes cool props, decorates their yard and home like a haunted house and has no problem coming up with the most creative and original costumes ever to show up at a party.
