He was born in November 16th of 1957 and the second eldest child of the six children of Maria Adoraida Makiling Vda. de Abaya.

Grandmaster Jonathan "June" Makiling Abaya was the founder and originator of Jendo.

Mastermind behind the Furious Five. Pioneer of the 'Quick Mix' and 'Clock' theories, and author of the first Hip Hop single to utilize both samples and scratching, called 'Adventures of Grandmaster Flash on the Wheels of Steel'. A god among the likes of Kool Herc and Afrika Bambaataa.

All turntablists today have in some way been influenced by the incredible Grandmaster Flash.

Houdini Grandmaster

An ancient title reserved to a closed number of people having demonstrated a high level of mastering in various houdini techniques. To be granted this title one must have performed at least a basic houdini, a houdini cheesecake, a Houdini Mixed Blessing and a combination of any 2 of the Houdini Marvel Omnibus flavours.

One can also be acknowledged as a Houdini Grandmaster if he has successfully invented and published a new original technique.
