Grindslop
A term that could be used for any videogame whose core gameplay loop includes copious amount of resource grinding, to the detriment of the pacing and enjoyment of the rest of the experience. It doesn't necessarily have to be a main aspect of a game, but it has to have enough of a presence within your playthrough that it affects your completion of it, or makes it significantly harder if you choose to opt out, all the while being unfun. Either tedious, repetitive, or a combination of both, it's the kind of shit that makes you groan every time you remember you have to do it.
Helldivers 2 is pure fucking grindslop. You spend hours farming Super Credits, only for the weapons from the warbond you bought to get nerfed a month later.
Metal Gear Solid V would be perfectly paced if you didn't spend hours picking up shrubs, containers and soldiers to get a slightly higher development level and gear, ontop of research having long wait times.
