Gallivation

An umbrella term and both a noun and a verb used for many different situations.

For example, gallivating is another way of saying pissing about, a gallivation is an outing, or if there was dirt on something or someone that can also be described as a bit of gallivation. Gallivation is a state of mind and a lifestyle. If you get it, you get it. Nuff said.

Galvation 

When a guy tagging along with his girlfriend, who is shopping at a girly store (usually in a mall), runs into one of his male friends who is also with their girlfriend in the same store. The result being that they can both talk about masculine "guy things" and feel better about themselves being in a girly store.

Kyle's masculinity was saved by galvation when he saw his friend Tanner with his girlfriend in Victoria's Secret: Pink store.

Gallivanting 

the verb form of a gallivan. (1) Using excess emphasis on one's hangover (2) forcing others to partake in ideas or actions that they have deemed necessary (3) giving one "the Brass"
