An Italian word which is where the word "goon" comes from. Originally used to describe low level gang members, the word has now evolved to encompass all people who suck.

Gabagoon
A person who engages in **gabagooning**; a massive fan of *The Sopranos*, *Goodfellas*, or mafia cinema who achieves a state of euphoric, obsessive hyper-fixation while binge-watching mob media.
The act of entering a prolonged, trance-like state of obsessive, continuous stimulation driven entirely by *The Sopranos* or other classic mafia media. Derived from a combination of the classic cured meat "**gabagool**" and the internet slang "**gooning**" (prolonged, hypnotic over-stimulation).
While regular gooning involves a screen, gabagooning specifically requires the presence of tracksuits, heavy Jersey accents, smoked meats, and a minimum of three consecutive hours of Tony Soprano breathing heavily into a microphone.

gabagool
This is an addition to the previous definition, which is half right. "Gabagool" is slang for "capicola." It is not a mispronunciation, but is instead in Napolitan dialect, which is what the Sopranos and many Italian-Americans use.
The rule in this dialect is to chop off ending vowels and to voice unvoiced consonants.
