Fall Out Boy Syndrome

When an emo band makes a song title so long that you cannot remember the name, only the way the song sounds.
Panic! At the Disco's "I Constantly Thank God for Esteban" is a classic example of Fall Out Boy Syndrome.

Pulling a Fall Out Boy

Breaking up after a number of years as a successful band and coming back a few years later with a bang. Fall Out Boy resurrected in April 2013 just when people were giving up hope of their comeback. It has been really good for publicity and they are now more popular than ever.
Let's just hope MCR is just pulling a Fall Out Boy and isn't breaking up for good.

Fall Out Boy

A band. Not a gay emo band. If i can quote Pete Wentz here,
"If you wanna say we're shitty, just say we're shitty. No need to get homophobic."
Anyway, contrary to popular belief, they aren't emo, they aren't punk rock, and they aren't pop. There's a genre called Punk Alternative, which they belong to. Their most popular songs include:
Sugar We're Going Down
Dance, Dance
Thnks Fr Th Mmrs
My Songs Know What You Did in The Dark (Light 'Em Up)
The band members are:
Patrick Stump
Pete Wentz
John Trohman
Andy Hurley

My opinion of them is very high. I love their music because it has meaning, unlike sooo many pop songs. People who think that we fans are ridiculous just haven't thought about their lyres like we have. Before you make a condescending remark about their lines, just think about. It has different meanings to different people, so you might be surprised with what you find.
Fall Out Girl: Have you listened to the Save Rock and Roll album yet?
Ignoramus: By Fall Out Boy? They make no sense, how can you even listen to them?
Fall Out Girl: They actually do make sense if you think about the lyrics.
Ignoramus: Lies! What does "my songs know what you did in the dark" mean anyways?
Fall Out Girl: It means we listened to their songs when we were in a dark place. Think a little!

Fall Out Boy Fan

These people are either real fans or fake fans.

A real fan usually has been a fan for a long time, and likes other bands similar to them such as P!ATD, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, etc. and likes songs other than songs from the Save Rock and Roll album.

A fake fan usually is a fan of mainstream/pop music and discovered Fall Out Boy from the radio, when it played "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em' Up). That is basically the only song they know. They label the band as emo, even though they are clearly not.
Fall Out Boy Fan:

Fake Fan: <3 omgggg I luv da Fall Out Boys! Light Em' Up is my fav songgg!!! Oh and I think his name is Pete Stump but he is rally hoooottttt <3333 I am like sooo über emoooo!!! lol I'm so hardcoreeee ^_^

Real Fan: I fucking love Fall Out Boy. Joe is my favorite because of his cool Afro! From Under The Cork Tree is such a cool album, but Save Rock and Roll was ok, I was expecting more tho. I miss Patrick's sideburns and Pete's guy liner +_+. And if you label them as emo, you die.

fall out boy

Now, let's get a grip here. I may be 14 but I am not confused or a girl. I'd welcome a voice better than patrick's, because there isn't one. FOB, emo? I don't really care what you think, as long as it's about them. Pete's lyrics wipe the floor with any other modern bands I have heard. Stop with the arguments. Fall Out Boy are, have always been, and will continue to be a great band.

Maybe you should keep your jealousy close, cause it's all yours.
Random person - "You heard that Fall Out Boy are coming to play in Britain in march?"

Misgeyman - "Yeah, my and my friends are going to see them in Cardiff!"

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.

Bill: "Fucking age gate! *quick scroll* THERE! I was born on January 1, 1904. Fuck you age gate."
