Fabricist

An informal, term used to describe a person with expertise or a strong passion for fabrics.

Fabric Enthusiast: This is the most common informal usage, particularly in crafting and sewing communities. A "fabristas" (a variation of the term) is described as a "fabric fanatic" who enjoys the feel and arrangement of different fabrics.

Fabric Professional/Specialist: The term has also been used in a professional context, such as in a LinkedIn profile where a person skilled in event and film draping described themselves as a "fabricist". This suggests a person who works professionally with fabric for design, decoration, or manufacturing purposes.

In essence, a fabricist is someone who works with or has an exceptional appreciation for fabric.
