Culinary term meaning appetiser in French, British English and most languages, but not in American English where for some reason it means main dish.

- French portions are ridiculously small! I once got an entrée in Paris and it was the size of an appetizer.

Definitely an innuendo.

"Dude I don't want anything serious with her. I just want a piece of an entrée."

"What does that even mean."

"It's an innuendo. You know how eggplant isn't really a side dish or an entrée?"

"What are you talking about? It can definitely be both. Have you ever had eggplant parmesan?"

"No, but that sounds great."

This can be seen as the most exciting and rewarding event of any evening - the main course of a night. It can be romance...it should be romance....

George: "So, last night! Wow! I mean, What a night!"
Chuck: "What did you do or I mean, who did you do? HAHAHAA!"
