Edgey

Edgey is the best father ever. He cares for his child, the Kyoko-sama and his loving MineCat. When the MineCat finds an Edgey, they immediately snuggle and make only the finest sex jokes. The Kyoko-sama is highly unworthy of the love it's parents give it but the Edgey is so kind and loving that he will accept his worthless child. Basically, the Edgey is the kindest, most loving dadther you will ever meet.

An excuse used for a badly missed tackle in Madden. It suggests that the user deliberately "set the edge" so that the computer assistance could aid in bringing the runner down. It also implies that the user has deep understanding of gap philosophies. The phrase is often used as a defense mechanism to cover up for a lack of general skill, particularly in tackling. User generally thinks they are the best Madden player ever.

Edgenuity

Little known fact, Edgenuity is actually a salvaged concentration camp torture method that was dubbed too intense for use in WWII. The germans locked the contents up in an ancient server room with a label saying "DANGEROUS". When architects found the server room, however, because they were english they mistook dangerous in German (GEFÄHRLICH) for a roughly translated merge of the words "GOOD FOR LE CHILDREN". So, they repolished the ancient program as an education program and sold it to Edgenuity for thousands. The "long and boring" you refer to is simply a part of the torture methods of this program.
