A sub genre of alternative music played by such artists/bands as John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews and many more. The music makes you feel like an edd hardy wearing, fake tanned, sunglasses at night wearing douchebag. Douchecoustic music is mainly centered around at least one guitar. A true douchecoustic fan only gives the initials of a douchecoustic artist such as DMB for dave matthews band.

Man 1: Whats your favorite type of music bra?
Bra: I like chilling to some douchecoustic while i light up.

Man 1: You get JM's new album?
Man 2: Na, I dont like douchecoustic music.

the official scale used to measure the amount of douchebagginess, or douchery, a person, place, thing, idea, etc, contains

it can be found using the formula:
douchitude = (x)(douche)

0 is the lowest, least douchiest
1 is the equivalent of a douche
2 is twice as douchey as a douche
etc.

it is possible for someone or something to be so high on the douchitude scale, that it goes off the charts and comes back to zero (exp: dance 360)

Douchitis: The illness or disease of having excessive douche like tendencies, to the extent that it effects loved ones and friends in a negative manner.
