Akin to asshat, fucktard, twit and various other condescending names for someone who behaves badly.

Can also be used as "douchemoosery", such as "He was so full of douchemoosery that we had to go hang somewhere else."

A parasitic energy field encircling the host i.e. the douchebag.

One must be careful not to get too close to the douchebagosphere, as there is a possibility of becoming a douchebag oneself. Caution must be adherred to at all times when in close proximity to the douchebagosphere.
