Learning Disability

A learning disability is a reduced intellectual ability and difficulty with everyday activities e.g. household tasks, socialising or managing money, which will affect someone for their whole life. People with a learning disability tend to take longer to learn and may need support to develop new skills, understand complicated information and interact with other people.
Learning disability is often confused with dyslexia and mental health problems. Mencap* describes dyslexia as a “learning difficulty” because, unlike learning disability, it does not affect intellect.
*The Royal Mencap Society is a charity based in the UK that works with people with a learning disability, founded in 1946 by Judy Fryd.

Disability Envy

Disability envy is when Chav's (mainly Chavettes) are jealous that someone they vaguely know gets free footwear, free nappies, free and full-time nursery places, a free Mobility car, free Road Tax, re-housing, free adaptionations, free transport to school and all the other 'perks' that come with having a child with a disability.

The jealousy usually manifests itself as heckles like 'Paint your f*****g fence' or 'I told you aleeeeeeeeeeeshaaaa (or similar name for the under fives who has become immune to being sworn at and who are most often allowed to play out until 10pm) not to f*****g play in their b*****d garden'. Sometimes it manifest itself from better known aquaintences who like to make snide and unjustified comments about the dis/abilities of your child, what a better job they could do in your position and how much easier their lives would have been with the 'free stuff' for their own (non-disabled) children. People have been known to say 'They're not THAT disabled' and 'Yea but you're set for life now!'

Disability Envy should not be confused with Penis Envy. Although, in both instances the offenders have flacid c*cks growing out of their foreheads.
Mother: I wish my child could go to University, have a husband, have a baby, stay dry throughout the day and night, write or recognise her own name.
Chav with Disability Envy: Yes, but you get FREE nappies!?

Mother: I'm so worried what will happen when I die or if I become ill and not able to care for my child.
Posh Friend with Disability Envy: Oh I wish I could have gotten Rupert into Nursery without those astronomical fees. What did you say? I was distracted by your new shiny free car.

difability

Difability is a portmanteau, a contraction of sorts, of differing and ability, which more accurately and politely describes difabled people. Disability and disabled are outdated derogatory terms, literally meaning unable and inability, which are both not only inaccurate, but severely insulting.
Look at that guy with a difability rip it up in that monoski. (a type of sit ski using one ski with a mountain bike type suspension most typically used independently by wheelchair users)

Steven Hawking may have a difability, but he's smarter than the rest of us.

disability heckler

Someone who harasses or embarrasses an individual with a disability out in public view.
One who makes taunting remarks about someones disability.
The man talking to that guy over there in the wheelchair is a disability heckler.

God Shot

A chance happening with profound meaning, an unexpected blessing, a "sign".
Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab said "All of a sudden what had been just another Hollywood proposal became for him an unexpected blessing, an opportunity for growth. In drug recovery language, that's called a "God shot."

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.

A slang term used to describe a bald person, typically someone who is completely bald or has a closely shaved head. The term is derived from the infamous, hairless kids’ cartoon character of the same name.
Example 1:
“Did you see that caillou over there? His head is reflecting the sun like a disco ball.”
Example 2:
“I think Dave is finally accepting his hair loss. He just went full caillou and shaved the whole thing off.”
