Daddylad
On board Royal Navy T class submarines Daddylads are the lads responsible for the learning of a lad, with the eventual potential outcome of making a clean lad out of him. Daddylads choose a lad wisely, based on certain specific qualities that can be nurtured. For example, fiestyness, a soft handshake and excellent genital cleanliness are all attributes that are favoured by a prospective daddylad. After several months learning at sea a lad may be proclaimed as clean, and even reach the status of being gooched.
Sailor A: I see that lads been claimed by a daddylad finally.
Sailor B: Aye shippers, he'll take some learning though by the looks of it. There's nothing better than a challenge to help pass the down time though eh?
Sailor C: I wager he'll be gooched by the end of deployment.
Sailor D: Only if he does as he is told, that daddylads a strict one!
