D street

A beach located in downtown Encinitas right next to Moonlight beach. Really good surf spot and hotties. THE BEST BEACH EVER. If you live in Carmel Valley, Del Mar, or Solona Beach you're most definitely not welcome here. Although DM and CV kids try to come down here and pretend like they live here and it bothers locals. Although if you live in Encinitas, Cardiff, Olivenhain, Leucadia or Carlsbad you are a local fo evaaaaa.
JOE:Hey nig lets go down to D street smoke a "j" and go surf
BOB: Okay we should just sleep there too because i just love it so much.

U Street D.C.

The area near Adams Morgan where you drink pabst, eat eritrean, hear jazz, go to Black Cat or DC9, and try not to step on rats.
U Street D.C. is best likened to city haunts in Philly, Pittsburgh, or Sacramento -- i.e. not really that hip, but maybe a good a thing because it's very hot so no one really wants to wear pants so tight.

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
