Cherokee Grandmother Syndrome

Claiming one has some distant Native American ancestor in order to sound more exotic or interesting when in fact no such Native American ancestor exists.

This practice is also relatively common by some American celebrities and personalities.
Larry: "And my great-great grandmother was part Choctaw and Apache."

Bob: "Larry, that's BS, your paternal grandparents where German immigrants and your maternal grandparents were Irish immigrants. You sound like you have a case of Cherokee Grandmother Syndrome."

----------------------------------------

James: "Hey did you hear Elizabeth Warren is 1/32nd Cherokee?"

Dustin: "Pff, yeah sure man"

Cherokee Princess

"Cherokee Princess" Is a common myth in many white families. To make the family history seem exotic and not just your ordinary American family. When really its a family lie that makes you and your family look like clowns.
Grandma Jenny: "Emily! You know My Great Grandma was a cherokee princess?"
Emily: "WOW! I'm part indian!"
An educated person: "Actually Emily your white, and not related to a cherokee princess because there is no such thing.

Cherokee

I have heard two different variations of the meaning of ᏣᎳᎩ: tsa-la-gi:Cherokee- 1.)people of the cave and mountain 2.)the redskin people. Aside from being one of, if not the largest Native American tribe(s) in the United States. The Cherokee are also known as one of the five civilized tribes. 20,000 Cherokee's were forcefully moved on the trail of tears 4,000 of which didn't make it from the southeast. Now there are three federally recognized bands 1.Cherokee nation-Oklahoma 2. United (ga-du-wa)Keetoowah band of Cherokee-Oklahoma 3. Eastern band of Cherokee-North Carolina. There are 7 clans of the Cherokee tribe:1.)a-ni-gi-lo-hi:The Long Hair Clan 2.)a-ni-sa-ho-ni:The Blue Clan 4.)a-ni-go-te-ge-wi:The Wild Potato Clan 5.)a-ni-a-wi: the Deer Clan 6.)a-ni-tsi-s-qua:the Bird Clan 7.)a-ni-wo-di:the Paint Clan

Texas is categorized as a swing state in presidential elections, but has voted for Republicans more times than for Democrats in recent history. As such, as demographics change political alignments, some Democrats believe that Texas will vote blue, or Democratic, due to their Hispanic and African American voters, who often align themselves with the Democratic Party's liberal wing.

Blexas has been cited as possible in the upcoming decades, but only if Democrats continue to win the Hispanic vote in bigger margins.
Democrat 1: What is your prediction for the 2024 presidential election?
Democrat 2: Well uh, Blexas!
Democrat 1: You've been saying that since 2008 though.

Brought to public attention by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in the book on the fall of Richard Nixon, All The President’s Men, ratfucker was Nixon’s term for a political operative who sows chaos among opponents; an agent provocateur. It is thought to have originated among campus political rivalries at USC, and seems to have some usage in the US military.
Along with Nixon’s other ratfuckers, Roger Stone caused fights at otherwise peaceful Democratic Party protests to generate a false narrative that the Democrats were violent and dangerous.
