It's an endless series of proxy battles,
fought by mercenaries and machines.

War, and its vast consumption of human life,
has become a rational, well-oiled business transaction.

ID-tagged soldiers carry ID-tagged weapons,
use ID-tagged gear.

Nanomachines inside their bodies
enhance and regulate their actions.

Genetic control.. Information control..
Emotion control.. Battlefield control.

Everything is monitored, and kept under control.

War has changed.

The age of deterrence is now the age of control,
averting catastrophe from weapons of mass destruction.

And he who controls the battlefield, controls history.

War has changed.

When the battlefield is under total control,

war becomes routine.

1. To be extremely close to accomplishing something only to have it unexpectedly taken away at the last minute.

2. To mis-judge distance or position resulting in injury to yourself or another person

Chanded 

Chanded (v) – to get really fucked up usually with a combination of marijuana, alcohol, and juul pods, and gravitate towards women much older than you who are likely of foreign origin. Getting Chanded correlates with increased likelihood of pregnancy and owing that girl half of your income for the rest of your life.

Or, to get fucked in the ass by The Donald.
