A traditional English Football game played by children where players compete against each other to score in one goal, usually marked-out by jumpers/trees against the fat kid nominated to go in goal (or int' nets up north). The last child to score in each round is eliminated and a new round starts until the final two players are left. This is deemed 'the final' and 2 or 3 goals are required to become champion.

Can be played in 'singles' or 'doubles'... Goal-hanging is not tolerated and persistant offenders will be penalised with 'Penalties-all-round' where every other player is awarded a penalty-kick from 12 paces.

Regional Variations:
- Cuppies
- Cup-sies
- World Cups

The Cappies is an award ceremony similar to the Tony's but for High School Theatre.
High Schools in certain areas of the US and now Canada, sign up one of their plays or musicals during a school year for Cappie critics to come. Then they follow certain guide lines for the production. At the end of the school year, the critics vote on the different shows for different awards. Then there is a big gala where the awards are presented and excerpts from some of the shows are preformed.
-Wow! That kid was soo good in (school's Play->)_________, they should totally win the Cappie for best play!

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
