The Bevens principle

This principle/ law states that “nothing can be proven as false or nonexistent”

Another way to phrase this is “there is always a chance for anything to happen”
Does god exist?

Well The Bevens Principle states that we can’t prove God doesn’t exist. No matter what test we do, they’re is always a nonzero chance that there is one. Same goes for just about anything else.

Bevets (backward form of Steve B.) is the user name of a member of Fark.com. He is most well know for his involvment in religious flamewars on Fark, where he gives irrational arguments to defend Christianity. He is so popular that other Fark users have created photoshopped images (including one in the style of a magic card) that say "summon bevets" and are posted at the beginning of a religious flamewar to entice bevets to join in.
Bevets is a religious fundamentalist who tries to defend the Bible.

Bevets' Law

As any discussion thread involving science grows longer, the probability of a religious flamewar approaches 1. See "Godwin's Law" in which a similar principle involves political threads ending with somebody invoking Hitler or the Nazi party.

From the website Fark.com, in which a user named Bevets was a common contributor on the side of religion in religious threads, or in science threads in which religion was invoked.
"Say what you will about the probability of quantum mechanics being unprovable, but you don't see atheists picketing in front of Bible manufacturing facilities because they don't agree with what's in that book."

"You just invoked Bevets' Law"

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
