Augustiner

Augustiner Bier: The finest of all Bavarian beers.
The Augustinerbräu München was established in 1328 and is the oldest brewery in Munich.
You can find it at the Oktoberfest and all around the year in Bavaria.

Also: August
Augustiner is so much better than Löwenbräu. Only Hofbräuhaus is almost as good.

Tegernseer might be even better than Augustiner, but it's kinda hard to find if you're not in the Tegernsee area.

Let's have a Augustiner!

Augustine

Augustine is the type of guy who seems very timid at first but once you get to know him he will never stop talking. Hes very playfull and caring. Once an Ausgustine finds the right girl, he does what he cans to try to make her happy. And sometimes his effort may not be seen at first, he will change your world. Dont get an Augustine mad though because at times he can get a little carried away. Hes the type to hold in his emotions and lets them out at a random basis. Hes really smart even though he doesnt show it. He loves his family and the ones closest to him. Your lucky to have an Augustine.

Augustine

Augustine is the best guy you'll ever meet if you're lucky. You'll believe happiness is attainable when you're with him. He is a lover of all things; such as his family, friends, animals, etc. He is an artistic and lively guy, and his good energy is bound to spread to you and put a smile on your face. He is extremely protective over his friends, and will never hesitate to help someone out. An Augustine is the type of guy that once you meet, you'll know you need to keep him. You want to always have him in your life, because you know life will be better with him in it, and if he's happy, you're happy.
Nobody is perfect, but you'll believe he is.

Augustine’s law’s

Augustine's laws were a series of tongue in cheek aphorisms put forth by Norman Ralph Augustine, an American aerospace businessman who served as Under Secretary of the Army from 1975 to 1977. In 1984 he published his laws. The book and several of the laws were the topic of an article in Sound and Vibration magazine in March 2012. His most cited law is number 16, which shows that defense budgets grow linearly but the unit cost of a new military aircraft grows exponentially.
“In the year 2054, the entire defense budget will purchase just one tactical aircraft. This aircraft will have to be shared by the Air Force and Navy 3 days each per week except for leap year, when it will be made available to the Marines for the extra day.“ - Augustine’s law’s: XVI

St Augustine's Syndrome

The phenomenon of people condemning vices they have indulged in themselves already, and since given up. Inspired by the _Confessions_ of Augustine (417 CE), in which Augustine describes his career path and then denouces the things he did to get to where he is.

WHY IT'S BAD

With SAS, the perpetrator has received the BENEFITS of a particular vice. It could consist of sleeping one's way to the top, or lying a lot, or getting divorced, or indulging a vice until it gets tiresome. At that point the perpetrator makes a big display out of quitting the vice and condemning it publicly. It's like climbing a ladder out of a ditch and then pulling the ladder up so others can't get out of the ditch; and to add insult to injury, the perpetrator ridicules the desire to use the ladder.

Like other forms of hypocrisy, it's destructive because it enforces stupid social codes. If the social codes were right all along, then the perpetrator should not get off the hook for violating them, but, in effect, he gets praise for having done so (and having "kicked the habit"). If the codes were wrong, then they should be confronted . And finally, it's bad because it creates a meritocracy of bullshit.
A good example of St Augustine's Syndrome is Doctor Laura Schlessinger, the evangelical talk radio host who climbed her way to the top, divorced, and then renounced feminism. Many putative sages are famous for having had, earlier in their lives, immense amounts of sex with numerous partners, only to renounce the ways of the flesh and denounced materialistic society.

St. Augustine

One of the most amazing cities on earth. St. Augustine is the oldest inhabited city in America, and regardless of what a lot of ignorant fools will tell you, you will have a blast and never want to leave. It is simply stunning, with beautiful beaches and so much more. It is probably the best city in Florida, and the ghost tour is amazing. All in all, it's just a stunning place to go, and there are so many things to do. You'll always want to come back, and you will never forget it.
St. Augustine is one of the most amazing places to exist.

murderhobo

In a tabletop game, a murderhobo is a player who murders NPCs indiscriminately. This is normally derogatory, referring to a player who totally ignores quests, dialog, backstory, trade, world building etc.

The term is most common with Dungeons and Dragons, but it can be applied to most RPGs where the player is allowed to kill most quest-giving NPCs and NPC traders. E.g. Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Divinity original sin.
DM: The sad little orphan girl tugs at Steve's trenchcoat to get his attention, and ask for help saving her pet dog from...
Steve: I'd like to roll a strength check against strangling the orphan.
Dave: I call dibs on the dog.

In sales terms, a whale is a prospect that is significantly larger than an organization’s average customer.

Whales are large and extremely difficult to close. Due to their immense size, they are highly sought-after.

A whale is typically identified at first by a whale hunter on the sales team, but often requires cross-discipline participation in order to close; this includes assistance from operations, engineering, creative, client success, and business development teams.
"Shit...the sales director chewed me out on the sales call this morning. He's totally pissed that I have nothing in my pipeline. I've been focused on this one whale for so long that I haven't had time to prospect for normal-sized deals."
