On the outside she's feisty, funny and caring but on the inside she's got a sweet and sensitive side that only the people who get close to her will see. She is the type of girl that is always brave and has audacity . She can be stubborn at times but can be compliant . She is funny and pretty. She's the type of girl you want to spend the rest of your life with, the type that you could imagine marrying and having kids with. She stands out from a crowd and can catch your eye easily. Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
