It was written and produced by Mariah Carey and her collaborator Walter Afanasieff and incorporates a sample of ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’ by Haven Gillesbie. It’s also the only christmas song history to reach number 1 in the United States and will probably become the longest running number 1 song in the USA in the next few years. It has been proven that it helps cows producing two times more milk.
