Baseball-Atticism

Crazy coaches/players that take practice and games way too far. Typically consists of large amounts of practices and games with little to no rest. Baseball-atticism is usually found in coaches and players that don't think too well and have little to no sense of logic. Coaches and players deemed as this also have very poor behavior when a practice/play/game doesn't go their way.
Coach: So-so job tonight we have got to win three out of the three games not two out of the three.
Coach: No worries though you guys have a chance to redeem yourselves tomorrow on our double-header.
Coach: Oh ya and I almost forgot, three hour practice before the first game tomorrow DON'T BE LATE!
Player 1: Man what is up with this coach, I think we should play on a different team next season.
Player 2: Ya this is basically baseball-atticism.

Atlanticism

A critical term used to designate an ultranationalist and imperialist ideology of the collective West (led by the USA, NATO, and the European Union), analogous to so-called “Ruscism” (Russian ultranationalist and expansionist ideology). In this polemical sense, Atlanticism is characterized by belief in the superiority of Western civilization, a mission to “export democracy” by force, the unquestioned expansion of NATO, global geopolitical control through military bases and sanctions, and the dehumanization of adversaries (Russia, China, the Global South). Critics argue that Atlanticism operates as a market fascism: it replaces racial mystique with the mystique of “liberal democracy” and the “free world,” while maintaining the logic of exclusion, violence, and imperial hierarchy. The term is used primarily by Global South analysts and anti-systemic currents.
*Example: “In a pro-BRICS forum, a user argued: ‘Atlanticism is the West’s Ruscism: the same belief in territorial expansion, the same dehumanization of the enemy, the same camps – only the flags change. The difference is that the West won the Cold War and gets to call its own imperialism a “rulesbased order.”’”

International Atlanticism

The view that Atlantic cooperation should transcend national boundaries, leading toward deeper integration of political, economic, and security structures among North Atlantic nations. International Atlanticism advocates for shared sovereignty, common institutions, and a collective identity that reduces the importance of individual nation‑states. It is often associated with proposals for a North American‑European free trade area, a common foreign policy, or even a transatlantic parliament. Critics on the left see it as corporate‑driven globalization; critics on the right see it as a threat to national independence. Proponents argue it is necessary to compete with rising powers like China.
Example: “The proposal for a Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership was driven by International Atlanticism—an attempt to lock in regulatory alignment and reduce national veto power over corporate rights.”
