A fever reducing painkiller known for it's liver toxicity when taken in semi-large doses, also known as APAP.
It's found in pretty much any drug that's popular to get high so they add APAP to prevent abuse. Common drugs include Vicodin/Lortab 5-500mg APAP/Hydrocodone and Dextromethorphan hydrobromide cough syrup formulas.
Avoid it if you can.
Bob: Hey man, I got some of this vicodin, wanna do some with me?
Richard: No thanks, it's got acetaminophen in it. I like my liver to be alive.
An very sensitive yet powerful explosive. Common applications include a really cool-looking cloud of dust (yay!) and setting off even more powerful explosives. Referred to as AP.
Be careful using the acronym AP at school because it also stands for Advanced Placement which is something completely different :P
It's also dangerous to make if you're not being careful.
Guy 1: Why is there a hole in my basement?
Guy 2: I messing around with some AP...
Guy 1: Advanced Placement?
Guy 2: No, Acetone Peroxide. Why would a test blow a hole in your basement?
An "Acetone Wash" is one method used by cocaine users to purify cocaine purchased on the streets. Each time the smuggled cocaine switches hands it is almost always cut or "stepped on" resulting in lower purity & even the possibility of dangerous cutting agents by the time it reaches the users. To achieve a purer cocaine base & eliminate these cutting agents many users "wash" the cocaine with 100% anhydrous acetone. Depending on the cut an acetone wash can also be used in conjunction with other purifying methods. After "washing", the cocaine base can be smoked or converted back to powdered cocaine HCI using muriatic acid. There are several "washing" methods outlined on the internet and some require highly flammable and explosive chemicals such as ether. Due to this risk many prefer acetone as a safer and as effective alternative.
