An expression used, usually in text messaging language to represent one laughing or that something was funny.
Originally derived from the mobile telephone keypad at which "Ha ha" would be 42 42.
Has become increasingly popular in speech with people using it as an adjective. Instead of laughing, to show that something is funny, one would say "forty two". Refer to example below.
