1. From Latin, literally meaning wanderer.

2. Anachronistic usage: a star that wanders, or moves, in the sky.

3. A world that orbits a star or other celestial object. Primary planets our solar system include Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Secondary planets orbit primary planets. Earth and Pluto are binary planets. Secondary planets are some times called minor planets, but minor planets also include planets that does not orbit other planets. Pluto's status as a major or minor planet is debated.
We live on planet Earth.

Technically, there really isn't a definition for the word "Planet", atleast not in science. Planets can be described easily in dictionaries, but scientists question the definition. They don't have a real answer to what planets are and how to describe them, but that's why scientists are searching and discovering things about planet to have a REAL, CLEAN, and SCIENTIFIC definition for the term, Planet.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.

Pee Calculus

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
I saw Satantango last night, wonderful film but by the 5th hour I had to start doing pee calculus.
