hotdog geography test

Observing which toppings another person puts on a hotdog, in order to discover that person's geographic origins. Can also be used to determine that person's level of taste, culture, and culinary refinement.
Results of such a test can be skewed if the person being observed puts enough toppings on their hotdog that a hotdog cornucopia results.

mirror test

An artist's worst nightmare, especially if they draw people or portraits.
This is when you flip over a drawing and hold it up to the light to see to the other side / use a handy mirror to check if your image still looks symmetrical when reversed.

Usually, it looks fine from the front and fails the mirror test.
It's really discouraging.
