A horribly bad hangover, so bad that all one can do is writhe in bed, tossing in the sheets. Usually incurring zero sympathy from any partners, spouses or loved ones. The Kris Kristofferson song "Sunday Morning Coming Down" is describing a writher in the line:

"Well, I woke up Sunday mornin'
With no way to hold my head that didn't hurt"

The narrator is clearly experiencing a writher.

Sorry I missed kickball practice this morning. I was out too late with some friends last night and woke up with a wicked bad writher.

Real 80s Writer

A graffiti writer that painted a little bit for a couple of years in the late 1980s. Returned to the scene to show everyone who’s boss during a midlife crisis demanding the respect of a graffiti king. Will use old school rules when it suits him. Hates street art. Gets pleasure from painting violent and abusive threats in childrens’ play parks. Internet troll and alcohol fuelled keyboard warrior. Must have an Instagram account to gain validation from strangers. Will not write within his postcode. Will put up the names of his pets to make it look like he has an army.

Person 1: Someone painted over that lovely mural at the park with some hideous unreadable bubble letters.
Person 2: Yeah, it must have been a ‘Real 80s Writer’!

writer's block

A condition that may occur while writing. It causes the person afflicted to be unable to think of what to write next. Typically, the less interesting the topic is to the writer, the higher the severity and chance of occurence.

Some English instructors (different from teachers, who actually teach) will exploit this by having their students write about a topic that hardly anyone cares about. Those who get the most severe cases of writer's block will fail because they couldn't think of anything to write.

A: So I had to write an essay over the importance of having friends with different cultures and whatnot.
B: How'd you do?
A: I got writer's block before I could even begin. And failed.
B: Again?
A: Again.

A very badass boss you can optionally face in the indie sandbox video game, Minecraft. You place 4 blocks in a t-shape. Two stacked on top of eachother, and two on both sides. Then throw three wither heads on top of all that shit, and then boom! You have a kick-ass beast that will rip the shit out of you, unless you're properly prepared.

Often includes the believable manipulation of truth, the careful adjustment of events, and the insertion of multi-layered meaning in everything that is said or done, despite the fact that no one else probably gets it.

That guy sees and interprets everything. He never stops writering, gosh!

a person who reads over a piece of writing and suggests edits for improvement regarding grammar, punctuation, spelling, phrasing, pacing, characterization, etc. they're popular among the fanfiction community.
