Wishful Cruising

When you approach a red light, and instead of applying the brakes and coming to a stop, you coast; with the intention that the light will turn green so you don't have to stop at all and can cruise right through it.

"I was in a hurry and was wishful cruising and made it through 6 lights!"

"Some guy was wishful cruising and hit me at the cross walk. So I gave that cocksucker a pink sock and sent him on his way!"

King of Wishful Pinking

A term given to the guy you see who is always talking to girls when he is out, but none of them are sincere in their interest of sleeping with him. He can commonly be found in the friend zone buying drinks for the women around him.

Friend 1: Geez man, there goes Sean again talking to Tina. He needs to just give it up.

Friend 2: First it was Katie, then Jen, and now Tina? Sean is the King of Wishful Pinking.

WISHFUL THINKER

A wishful thinker is one who naively believes, what he/she wants an outcome to be, rather than dealing with the alternate reality of what the outcome probably in reality will be. Wishful thinkers are very sweet, but get into trouble with this way of assessing situations. Often very unrealistic, in a silly way. Pollyanna, optimistic. What they want to be true blinds them to reality.

I am sure the police will just give me a warning for my out of date inspection sticker.

I did not read any of the material for the test, and did not prepare at all, but I am sure I will get a good grade.

He is a wishful thinker.

wishfisher

A person who goes fishing for "Happy Birthday" wishes on social media. After receiving an initial round of good wishes (only because the people were reminded when they logged in), the wishfisher chums the waters with a "thank you" so others will remember to wish them a happy birthday, too.

Did you see Kyle's "Thanks for the birthday wishes" status update? He got 20 more happy birthdays because if it. He's such a wishfisher.
