One of the most enjoyable pastimes of young men. The act of shamelessly flirting, charming and pursuing women (or "wenches" with the sole purpose of bedding them.
(wench: (1) an old word used for the young women that worked in taverns in the evenings and were often easily persuaded to work nights too.

Welching
'Welching' is the clunking of the base of a beer bottle or glass, whilst making various grunting or 'pirate-sounding' noises such as arrrrrr, or oarrrrr... etc etc. This is as opposed to 'clinking' or 'chinking' of the top of a bottle, and it perceived as far more masculine when in a group of lads who are all very drunk, and in agreement of a certain point of topic.
It is often accompanied by the raising of one's right elbow upwards, whilst making other peculiar noises, that would suggest that one has slightly lost the plot.

Weeching
Laughing uncontrollably at something generally not that funny. Specifically ‘Weeching’ is mainly laughing at the very fact that you are laughing at all. a Weeching session can go on indefinitely as it is a spiral of laughter.

Disco Wenching
A Scottish term used to describe the raunchy dance floor hook up. This is typically done with a complete stranger usually accompanied with heavy petting and sometimes even OTPHJ's (over the pants hand jobs).
