weather.com

n. A generalized term for any source of information that, though presenting a front of authenticity and reliability, actually ends up being incorrect and spoiling an evening of fun, as when a 90% prediction of thunderstorms causes a BBQ to be canceled yet it doesn't rain.
v. to present a front of authenticity and reliability, though ending up incorrect and spoiling an evening of fun.
After overhearing an attractive female compliment the same shirt that Ben would have worn had it not been for Tom's criticism, Ben chastised Tom for weather.com'ing his style choices.

regional weather complex

the false concept that the local weather is unique to all other weather in the world and is in itself its own entity. It is usually mundanely referenced when the weather is out of synch for the season. i.e. A 60F degree January day in Cleveland.
Fat old lady from Cleveland getting into her mini-van, "This ain't no winter day, it feels like summer! Kooky Cleveland weather!"

Intelligent bystander, "What's that? Are you another idiot with a regional weather complex?"

Chamber of Commerce Weather

Any type of sunny weather that would attract visitors to your city. In Atlanta, that means 65 degrees and sunny on a Saturday in February.
We had a client team come in from Detroit on Friday, and due to the Chamber of Commerce weather, they just wanted to go to Park Tavern and drink all afternoon.

company weather

Beautiful weather from Monday to Friday and then rain on the weekends. Companies with outside workers love this as, productivity is maximized on workdays and downtime due to inclement weather is reduced. Workers on the other hand slave away during the week in the sun and then have their free time spoiled by the weather.
Dammit! it's raining? fine all week and now on Saturday - rain, bloody company weather!

I hate company weather!

Why can't it rain on Monday? damn this company weather

Company Grade Weather

An Uncommon Air Force Slang for "really fucking bad weather" thunderstorms, high winds or 0 visibility in the sky for miles used as a joke to new pilots who haven't only experienced calm to lighty moderate weather and not the full force of mother nature but rarely said as it was a injoke for a long time.
New Pilot: goddamn that was some mean turbulence dude
Experienced Pilot : man this aint shit you should have seen me and my last Wingman in "Company Grade Weather"

Weathercock

An inconstant person, someone who changes (decisions/opinions/plans) with the wind.
"Jacob is such a weathercock, he said wanted to go shopping with Dari today, but he changed his mind like one minute later."

weathercock logic

the fallacious logic that justifies an action or result in whatever way it occurs. If it turns out to be good, it is justified and if not, it is also justified. For example, if a student fails his exams, this logic states that he fails because he has not studied hard. If he passes, it defends him by stating that he passes because of his diligence.
