Sheriff Ward.

An official who is castrated by the government, and serves as a Eunuch easily bent to their will.
First used in the old west people in psych ward's would be fixed so they could house males and females together. Sometimes they would recover, and come to their senses. However they were still castrated, so the Government give them jobs often in law-enforcement. These became known as ward sheriffs or a "sheriff ward". Now anyone in law-enforcement that is not liked is called a Sheriff Ward.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped.
