To create new slang phrases in a vigorous yet pleasurable fashion. Generally done in private.
"Damn Chris, my mom walked in on me vernaculating yesterday and now I gotta copy the whole dictionary down to get me straight."

A term used for when vernacular speaking habits of a group become epic enough in both usage and strangeness as to be considered dinosaur sized in their impact and magnitude. Frequent Woody Allen or Monty Python quotes are often a tell tale sign of the modern vernacularosaurus language at it's best.
