vaguism

A term to describe speech, text and/or action in which the participant has little or no idea of the factual content.
To commit a vaguism you could do one of the following. Pretend to contribute to dialogue on a subject you have little or no knowledge of for a sense of acceptance or self importance or plagiarise text on a subject that you cant be bothered understanding but pretend otherwise or in action by pretending to understand directions (possibly in a second language, ie traveling) and then heading off in the wrong direction.
