tolossa

Tolossa (n) is a name you can give to someone very proud of his/her identity. Tolossa people will not pretend to be someone they are not even if pretending would have been beneficial at the moment. As such they are not good for acting roles.

The origin is a TV evangelist's episode in Ethiopia where the evangelist told a congregation member the latter has a new name now. When the evangelist asked "What's your name now?" the guy responded with his original name "Tolossa" instead of playing along and saying the new anointed name.
Mary: Hey honey I thought Meghan would be starring in your new skit.
John: No. Turns out she is a tolossa. She can not follow a script. She just says whatever she wants to.

Leo Tolstoy

Leo Tolstoy's "War and Peace" is most probably the best work of fiction to have ever been written. Through central characters Count Pierre Bezuhov and Prince Andrei Bolkonsky, the greatest spiritual and ethical questions of life are explored through embarkations on monumental journeys.

Leo Tolstoy

Leo Tolstoy or Count Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy was a Russian writer widely regarded as among the greatest of novelists. His masterpieces War and Peace and Anna Karenina represent in their scope, breadth and vivid depiction of 19th-century Russian life and attitudes, the peak of realist fiction. Tolstoy's further talents as essayist, dramatist, and educational reformer made him the most influential member of the aristocratic Tolstoy family. His literal interpretation of the ethical teachings of Jesus, centering on the Sermon on the Mount, caused him in later life to become a fervent Christian anarchist and pacifist. His ideas on nonviolent resistance, expressed in such works as The Kingdom of God Is Within You, were to have a profound impact on such pivotal twentieth-century figures as Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr.
"All violence consists in some people forcing others, under threat of suffering or death, to do what they do not want to do." - Leo Tolstoy
