Thesising

As demonstrated by Benjamin Bryant of Harvard University, thesising is the ultimate dedication to one’s Honors Concentration Thesis. It involves the maximum exertion of all five senses, all cognitive processes, and all emotions into writing or performing work for one’s thesis. One expels blood, sweat, and tears when writing his or her thesis properly. Their support system is wrapped in up until the ultimate presentation of their thesis, where they will defend it in the worst 20 questions of anyone’s life. If you look at someone’s resumé and see that they have written a thesis in their academic history, you’ll know that they are passionate about something, and can devote time to accomplish their goals. If you run into someone at a party who has written a thesis, you can definitely count on them having a word or two to say on said topic.

Wow, Ben wrote a thesis on Racial Capitalism?! He thesised hard!!

thesisitis

The feeling one gets when thinking about writing their thesis, usually making them feel physically and/or mentally ill.

Symptoms can include, nausea, lethargy, incoherent conversations and sometimes momentary lapses of motor skills (eg. walking).

Without treatment thesisitis can result in excessive desk chair racing and may result in injury.

Student: Man, every time I think about my thesis I feel sick.
Friend: Well maybe you've got thesisitis, it's probably a good idea to take the day off.

Student: Today I rode an elephant backwards up the stairs.
Concerned friend: Pretty sure you have thesisitis... I'm just gonna keep my distance in case it's contagious.

themissingchip

themissing chip is a well known tiktoker who posts a lot about shinkami and Ochako. They are absolutely amazing and I love all their posts. Most of time you will see them on your fyp. They are very cool and they are pretty concerning and scary sometimes but in all they are a pretty great person to be around!
