Common traits include uncomfortable, cheap and gaudy furniture, refrigerators located in the living areas instead of the kitchen, and entire walls devoted to opulent and overly-conspicuous Buddhist shrines.
During any outing searching for sale or rental properties in Thailand, you are sure to run across plenty of thaiky homes which will require a very large dumpster should you choose to move in.
