A person that utilises technology to achieve effects resembling traditional fantasy magic. Someone who uses consumer technology in creative ways to achieve results not originally intended by the manufacturer.
With a little bit of imagination, household items, and some off the shelf electronics, Jill, a technomage, was able to hobble together a technique to project her favorite home videos into mid air.
