Swiftematics

The aftermath the overwhelming demand for Taylor Swift’s limited supply of wallet-unfriendly concert tickets has on math or math education among teenagers and young adults in some high-GDP nations and emerging economies in Asia—when there seems to be an inexplicably positive correlation between idol worship and a rise in the quantitative literacy among the Swifties.
Two Swiftematics quickies tailor-made for middle- and high-school Swifties are:

1. Guesstimate how much tourism revenue Taylor Swift’s six concerts would generate when she toured the “fine” city of Singapore in March 2024.

2. What are the chances that a Singaporean Swiftie would get to watch their American idol live when she performed in “Disneyland with the death penalty” next year?

A Swiftie wannabe, who obviously does not know a lot about Taylor. Has heard of songs like "I Knew You Were Trouble." And "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" but most likely never heard of songs like "All Too Well" or "I Almost Do". Will go around telling people they are Swifters. Annoying. Similar to Directionators
"Hi Taylor! I'm your biggest fan-I'm a Swifter!"

Taylor Swifting

1. The art of laying on the floor in your room wallowing for a boy while listening to Taylor Swift.

2. The internet meme involving dragging your ass across the floor like an old dog (made popular by South Park).

Keep in mind that these two definitions are very similar and easily confused.
Person 1: Did you do your homework?

Person 2: No, I spent the whole day Taylor Swifting.

Person 1: Is that boy really worth it?

Person 2: No, not Taylor Swifting in that way, I was dragging my ass across the carpet all day.

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.

A slang term used to describe a bald person, typically someone who is completely bald or has a closely shaved head. The term is derived from the infamous, hairless kids’ cartoon character of the same name.
Example 1:
“Did you see that caillou over there? His head is reflecting the sun like a disco ball.”
Example 2:
“I think Dave is finally accepting his hair loss. He just went full caillou and shaved the whole thing off.”
