Basically where characters are set above the top
line, for example ᵃ,
ᵇ, ᶜ. These
letters can be either
typeset or from
Unicode. Also for some reason people think there's no superscript
i in Unicode and they replace it with ᶦ, but they know ⁿ exists when ⁱ is in the same
Unicode [block] as it. That's probably
unrelated, the actual information is
next. So basically some examples are ¹, ², and ³ are things you might recognize from
mathematics, but for some reason there's no superscript
pi in Unicode when we've
got the superscript
golden ratio (ᵠ)? Oh yeah and there's also a
subscript one too, ᵩ. Anyways, using typesets you can make any character superscript (or subscript), but you can't
copy and paste the
formatting, but it's cool I guess.
