A tiny squirt of something, esp. used in cooking. More than a drop, but less than a dollop.

"Hey, how much of this hot chilli sauce do I need to put in the mixture...?"

"Just a squittance. Not too much, ok?"

When someone tries to talk to you or distract you in some form or fashion while you are trying to "drop the kids off at the pool."

An interruption in one of mankind's most important rituals, taking a massive dump.

My wife always wants to ask me what I think about her dress and interrupt me mid-shittance.

My phone won't stop ringing. It keeps going off mid-shittance.

Portmanteau of “shit” and “pittance”. A condescendingly low or small amount, usually referring to fees for services rendered.

“They were offering me a shittance for a weekend of work, but I said yes because I needed the cash.”
