Padron e sotta

"Padron e sotta"(Master and servant) is a southern italian, card based, drinking game. In every game the one who gets the higher score is the Padron, the second higher score is the Sotta.

The Padron has to make invitation and the Sotta has to accept or decline, making some people drink and other no, forming teams.

Padron - "A glass of beer to Aldo and two to Stefano"
Sotta - "No"
Padron - "A glass to you and one to Aldo"
Sotta - "Yes"

The game ends when everyone has drank at least a glass (usually of beer, wine in the old days), or when

the number of rounds prearranged is reached. A round ends when everyone has been the dealer.

The person who hasn't drank for the whole game is called "Urm" and will be mocked for the rest of the evening. (for the rest of his life if the game was really competitive)

sottomize

To commit political suicide by immersing one's self into a fecal hole full of stupidity and arrogance.

The word comes from the actions of Sen. Tito Sotto of the Philippines. He has been caught plagiarizing at least four bloggers and denying it strongly.

Despite this, he has again been caught trying to pass off a part of a speech delivered in the 1960s by Robert F. Kennedy as his own.

He simply translated the parts he lifted into Tagalog (native Philippine language), word for excruciating word, including the paragraph cuts.

He glibly asked a reporter if RFK ever spoke in Tagalog, as his defense that he could not possibly have stolen RFK's thoughts or words.
"Do you think Sen. Sotto will get re-elected in 2016?"
"Fat chance, he sottomized himself."

Sottofied

Plagiarizing content from bloggers but passively aggressively denying any relevance of said-blogger, claiming they also ripped off that what they posted.
Senator Sotto didn't want to research the exact words of the study, instead he sottofied that blog post. Why should I admit to plagiarism if the blogger also just copied the results from the original research?
