A term used to describe an alcoholic beverage. First used by M. Patterson of Blackpool.

Neil : Are we going Skydiving then?
Matt : Yes, however I shall require a few schwallies before doing so to calm my nerves

Matt : Lets go into town for the 45th night on the row... just for a few schwallies.

Scottish term for a drink, usually of the alcoholic variety.

Wee Man: Hey big man, ye gang doon eh pub for a wee schwally?

Big Man: Aye, pure schwally man!
