Scatters
uncontrollable explosive vomit, getting so off the wall shit faced drunk that you can no longer aim your vomit which causes it to scatter all over in the general direction of your target which is usually a toilet or in some very poor cases the bar floor. The scatters are usually found in the bigger cesspools of the world such as bourbon street, broadway, or the sunset strip.
Dude how are you feeling? Man not great but not just awful. Dude go look in the bathroom you caught the scatters last night and now moms spaghetti and cheap bourbon whiskey are all over the place!!!!

Slang for a way of ordering hashbrowns at The Waffle House diners. Scattered smothered and covered means that the hashbrowns are scattered on the grill, smothered with diced onions, and covered with melted cheese.
After a long night of drinking, you have to head down to The Waffle House at 3am and get em scattered smothered and covered.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
