1. The act of killing and hollowing someone out, then stuffing their body with hay or cotton.

2. Standing in a field waiting for something to happen. Usually used as an insult.

scarecrowsman 

A thin, tall man or woman from a village/town of low population, appointed to ward off evil spirits and thieves. A tradition from older times, smaller modern villages in Oklahoma have clung to this archaic belief.

These villages oft send their young out into the world with their shirts filled with straw in the belief that it will keep their thoughts and mind pure of the evils of modern society.

Get out there and tend the field! We didn't appoint you the scarecrowsman for nothin', boy!

The act of standing in a window or doorway in a commanding pose to assert physical dominance and ward off unwelcomed visitors through intimidation, especially while fully or partially nude.
