Satellite ears 

The phenomenon or condition where a student will hone in on conversations to which students discuss without the knowledge of who is listening (because of "satellite ears"), until the person in question finds a point of interest in the conversation, and involuntarily joins in- suddenly making themselves vulnerable to the fact they were listening intently to the conversation without the students knowledge, approval, or comprehension...

(After listening to an entire conversation about Heroes)

Dude 1: Hey did you see Heroes last night?
Satellite ears: Omg yeah I did! I never knew Sylar had a sensitive side...
Dude 2: Whoa quick response man, considering we weren't even talking to you

Sawcello 

A 3-piece rock band from Arizona, established in 2006, known for their dual lead vocal harmonies, catchy hooks, poetic lyrics, thrashing drums, and rhythm guitar ranging from soft acoustic to heavy electric.

I just saw Sawcello play a show last night, and I can't get their songs out of my head!

satellite dog 

A dog wearing one of those coned-shaped protective collars, making the poor animal resemble a miniature satellite dish. It is considered impolite to make jokes in front of its owner about their dog getting hundreds of television channels. Unless they think it is funny, too.

The dog in the movie "Snatch" that swallowed the sqeaky toy and the big diamond was hilarious! At the end of the movie, he got taken to a vet who cleaned him out and put a satellite dog collar on him.
