Naked Sally
When a film or television character is always remembered for an entirely irrelevant trait.
This trope is named for Sally Acorn from Sonic the Hedgehog who, despite being one of the most plot-developed characters in the comic/show, is only remembered for being naked.

Single Sally
Single Sally is a man trying to throw a party without any friends. He may frequent bars, nightclubs and gentlemen's clubs for companions to party with.
"Sorry buddy. We only book topless waitresses for parties, no single Sallies. Call us next time you have some friends over."
"That is why this place can no longer be rented for parties unless there are two men willing to be responsible. One man had a party, wrecked the place and he threw up his hands, saying he cannot control his rowdy guests. No matter how high we raised the fee, none of these single Sallys ever cared about losing their security deposit. Only when we made two men give their names for the rental did we start to see manners. One of the two men needed the security deposit more and he would keep his friends in line to get it back. It became a matter of pride, and one friend would not let his so-called friend take advantage of their friendship by losing the deposit. With two names on the line, it diffuses the responsibility and makes it easier for everyone to relax."

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
