Youtube Rewind

A video Youtube puts out every year on December 6th. Over the years it's gotten worse, and this year, my God my eyes. Youtube think that featuring fortnite and not Pewdipie cool. Nice one Susan.

It is a phrase that was used by video rental employees after handing customers their video tape.

The act of rewinding a video tape after watching it is considered a kind deed, as the next person to watch that tape wont have to rewind the entire movie, which might spoil the storyline for them if they watched the screen while it rewinded.

Video guy: "Here is your tape bro! Be kind rewind."
Customer: "Thanks man. I'll make sure my parents aren't home when I'm watching it."

A phrase coined by Will Smith, specifically used in the now most hated YouTube video ever, "YouTube Rewind 2018". The phrase can be used to reference the video to in itself be used as a humorous joke. The phrase itself is also a troll on the video altogether.

Rowing

The most phisically demanding sport, you will ever encounter. It's hard, exhausting and makes you feel like you want to collapse. Rowers get up every morning at 6 to go out in the freezing cold weather to row with there 'pogies'. Even in 12 degree weather, they walk around in a one piece lycra and a spandex top. During winter training, rowers train inside doing runs, circuits, weights and ergos which normally consist of 2k, 5k and the dreaded 30 minutes. 30 minutes are dread awful. It's hard to describe the pain of 30 minutes but most rowers are crying by halfway. Rowing is the greatest dport ever. Admit it. It's true.

"Hey I'm going rowing after this."
"In this weather? It's raining!"
"Hey, don't worry, I've got my full lycra and spandex kit to keep me toasty warm" ;)
