An AI, especially a chatbot or large language model, that people talk to like a psychologist, therapist, or confessional, sharing personal problems, secrets, and emotional baggage they would normally take to another human.

A play on psychologist, with “AI” hidden inside, reflecting how people increasingly process their inner lives through machines.
