Full-text written language in online conversation - the complete avoidance of any emoticons when writing messages via SMS, chats, etc., while writing complete sentences and not using acronyms like LOL.
Katherine avoids emoticons, much to tomas' distress - she expresses what she thinks verbally in nomoticon, while he uses emoticons like ;-(, etc. to express feelings.

The status of being all choked up and teary-eyed while/after watching Pixar's famous animated "fish story" movie from 2003.
The highest-grossing animated film of the early 2000's is indeed a very touching tale of love, loyalty, and family values, so I suppose that it might indeed be natural for some viewers to get a little Nemotional over it.
