Wand of Narcissus

There goes Becky, taking a selfie with her Wand of Narcissus, again.

Narcissus

From the story of the Greek hero Narcissus who, in most versions of the story, fell in love with the reflection of himself in the water of a pond. He was later then turned into a flower by the gods.
Now the words Narcissism and to be a Narcissit are used to discribe one who is in love with their self or just really really likes mirrors...
Will you please stop looking in that damn mirror you Narcissus.

Narcississy

A effeminate man so in love with himself that he becomes his own girlfriend.
I'm not going out with that narcississy anymore. His idea of a perfect date is a glass of wine, a mirror, hand lotion, and a towel.

Narcissympathy

A status update or tweet that gives half information about a potentially catastrophic event in a persons personal life, that causes others to respond with urgency even though they have no idea what happened. Both components are required: the narcissist who teases the information to draw lots of attention and the sympathy whores who take the bait.
Facebook status update: "Just got out of the hospital, I can't believe what happened to me."
Debra: "OMG, what happened?"
Sue: "Are you okay? What happened?"
Sally: "I'm here for you as always"
Jan: "I'm praying for you and your family"
Joe: "Out with the story already, stop it with the narcissympathy."

Initial Tweet: "Fingers cross, waiting on my test results."
Debra: "OMG, what happened?"
Sue: "Are you okay? What happened?"
Sally: "I'm here for you as always"
Jan: "I'm praying for you and your family"
Joe: "That sounds kind of personal. But I guess you must have needed your narcissympathy fix."
